If you plan to attend a meeting via computer, before you start, check on these things
A couple of tips
TIP #3
If you have never used Zoom, plan to try it out about 1 hour ahead of your meeting. If you have
never loaded Zoom on your computer, the system will prompt you to do so (it’s free and fast).
Allow yourself some extra time. Take a breath if this is new to you. New is nerve-wracking. But
once you get used to Zoom, you will find it is very user-friendly.
TIP #4
Don’t double click on Zoom buttons. You might end up with multiple “Launching” or “Join the
Meeting” boxes on your screen. That can be confusing and frustrating. If that happens, try
closing one of the duplicate boxes. If that doesn’t work and you feel you can’t enter the meeting,
just exit and start over. You won’t have caused any harm!

How to log into Zoom
Look for your invitation to the meeting. This may have come to you via an email, and if so, open
the email. If the invitation came to you through an Outlook calendar invitation, click on the
meeting appointment day/time and see if the Zoom login details were included there.
Your Zoom login details/information should look something like this:
My computer let me pass.
Have a great meeting, everyone!
