Week 2: Wisdom & Strength
This week wisdom is presented as strength. Sometimes
when we talk about wisdom we speak about it likening it
to intellect or navigating social relationships, but wisdom
is also about strengthening our resolve.
THIS IS YOUR DAILY SCRIPTURE:
Ephesians 1:16-18 (CSB) I never stop giving thanks for you as I remember
you in my prayers. 17 I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glori-
ous Father, would give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowl-
edge of him. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that
you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glori-
ous inheritance in the saints,
THIS IS YOUR DAILY PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I give thanks for my family. I will never stop thanking You
for them. I pray that you will give them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in
the knowledge of You. I pray that my children’s eyes of the heart may be en-
lightened so that they may know what is the hope of Your calling, what is the
wealth of Your glorious inheritance in the saints.

CONVERSATION STARTER:
I was reading in Job 12 and it says that wisdom and strength belong to God.
Where are places that we sometimes wrongly try to gain wisdom or
strength? How do these efforts sometimes fail?

random trivia questions online or buy a team/teen trivia game at
the store.
Enjoy yourself as you see who can take home the victory. This is a
great way to put phones down and spend some time talking.

READ THIS TOGETHER
Read together: Proverbs 2:1-6 (CSB) My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you, 2 listening closely to wisdom and
directing your heart to understanding; 3 furthermore, if you call out to in-
sight and lift your voice to understanding, 4 if you seek it like silver and
search for it like hidden treasure, 5 then you will understand the fear of
the Lord and discover the knowledge of God.6 For the Lord gives wis-
dom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
