1. Represent Lake Yale in a Christ-like manner to all guests and employees.
2. Train, inform and encourage all staff regarding guest service needs.
3. Respond to group leader and guest inquiries in a timely, helpful, and professional manner.
4. Work directly with all groups as the main point of contact.
5. Collect signed contracts, deposits, statement of beliefs, proof of liability insurance or signed
release of liability waivers, and all other pertinent information from guest groups in a timely
manner.
6. Encourage new business from all groups through offering additional options and ideas to
current church/group leaders.
7. Ensure appropriate allocation of site resources for groups, including meeting space, and use
of common resources.
8. Ensure adequate communication of guest and group needs to LYBCC staff.
9. Ensure adequate communication of site and policy information to groups and guests.
10. Ensure all office supplies and supply requests are fulfilled.
11. Submit rate projections and recommendations to the Executive Director for approval.
12. Work with all staff to address guest survey concerns.
13. Create a pleasant working environment for the office staff and guests both in professionalism
and in the aesthetics of the office (i.e. decor).
14. Other assigned duties, including, but not limited to, assisting other departments as requested/
scheduled.

Salary Range: 34,000 38,000 annually
Basic Function:
The primary responsibility of the Director of Guest Services is to maintain positive relationships
with all guest groups and potential guest groups and to oversee and assist other guest services
staff in the handling of guest needs.
