Staying in Touch
Volume 14 - Issue 10 October 2021
From Mack
Dear GHI Friends,
Greengs in Jesus Name! God is so good to us to give us the
privilege that even angels dont enjoy (see 1 Pet. 1:12) and
that is to bring people to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and
Lord through the Gospel! Time is short and we must be about
our Fathers business just as the hero of our faith was with His Father! So, I trust
youre pulling out all the stops to bring your family and friends to Christ.
Moving over the waters, 12,000 miles away, God is sll at work through our teams
and their families to reach the lost. At this wring we have reached 16 unreached
people groups in the elds around us since 2002, despite much opposion (see
1Thess. 2:2). But I am happy to say that all our pastors, evangelists, lecturers, and
their wives are willing to ght the good ght of faith, even if opposion comes to
even the loss of their lives (see Phil. 1:21)!
As a side note, my amazing Doe turned 82 on Sept. 27th and I will turn 78 on Oct.
30th. And for the record, we have no intenons of giving up the reins on this side of
the world in maintaining this mighty work in India.
On the Indian side, a young son was born on Oct. 20, 2020, who will be one year old
this month. Prayerfully and hopefully, Abraham Paul, will grow in wisdom and stature
like his dad and mom and one day be a mighty leader for GHIndia.
So, please if you havent already, come on board with us and invest in people that
you will one day meet in heaven! Now, heres Sam
Dear Friends,
Greengs to you in the name of our Lord God! I hope and trust that you
are all doing well. Thank you once again for your steadfast love,
sacricial giving, and faithful prayers. Here is a brief update from the
ministry in India.
Workshop on Personal Evangelism
By the grace of God, I was invited by
the Inter-collegiate Union of Evangelis-
c Students of India in Chennai to lead
a workshop on Personal Evangelism
on the 19
th
of September. In the rst
two sessions, I spoke on the The
What, Why and How of Evangelism”.

Staying in Touch
In the aernoon, the parcipants requested that I do a
role play on how to share the Gospel to strangers. Aer
this session, we went in a few groups to some nearby
college campuses for actual evangelism. We concluded
the workshop on hearing the experiences and answering
quesons from the parcipants from their evangelisc
eorts and by giving them ps on apologecs and follow
up.
I was encouraged by the feedback from the organizers as
well as the parcipants. One of the organizers wrote,
Thank you so much for coming and taking the sessions
with praccal experiences. God made a lot of dierence.
Wonderful. Praising God for you”. Here is feedback from one of the parcipants, It was very helpful and
a great step towards personal evangelism. We could overcome the hinderances we had before with the
ps and illustraon by the speaker”.
The organizers said that they are now thinking of inving me again aer a few months to lead a
workshop on Apologecs”.
I am grateful to my parents, Uncle Mack, and ministers of Gospel Harvesters Internaonal who kindled,
inslled, modeled, and gave me many opportunies
to share the Gospel to the masses as well as to indi-
viduals since I was 13 years.
Evangelism in the villages
By the grace of God, our GHIndia teams have been
using every opportunity to share the Gospel to every-
one we meet. This month we have shared the Gospel
to over 2,250 people and over 1,500 have trusted
Christ to the glory of God.
A few weeks back, our manager Victor lost his dad. I was invited to preach at his memorial service. My
PhD studies have only reinforced the fact of the truthfulness, power, and the hope in the Gospel. I
preached on How to grieve and how to live in the light of the resurreconfrom 1 Corinthians 15 to the
believers as well as to the unbelievers. I was able to share the same message during the inaugural of our
college extension program on 25
th
Sept. I told my wife that this was
probably the best message I have ever preached. Not because of how I
preached, but because of what I preached. Jesus is risenso let us stand
rm, let us not allow anything to move, let us give ourselves always to
the work of the Lord because our labor in the Lord is not in vain.
By the grace of God, last week we had a literal 1 Thess. 1:9 moment. A
family from an unreached people group took this bold step of faith. I
wish I could share their picture, but I am unable to for security reasons.
...They tell how
you turned to
God from
idols to serve
the living and
true God.

Then last Sunday, this family donated food to our orphanage in remembrance of their sister who had
recently died. I found out that this sister had a stunt brain growth. I was led in my heart to sit them down
and share the Gospel. They listened very intently and paently to the Gospel and we led them in a
prayer.
Harvesters Theological College & Seminary
By the grace of God, we were able to begin classes for
the extension students on campus this month. I was so
excited to teach Bible Study Methods for this enre
day. I am not sure if our students are looking forward to
the next two days, but I cant wait to get into the class
and teach more of this course.
It was so good to see regular students and extension
students together in the campus aer such a long me.
Please connue to pray as more students are joining in.
God willing, we will be having a girl from Chennai joining
1
st
year B.Th. program tomorrow.
Above, before we begin, we are asking Gods blessing on the new students. We thank God for the
privilege to train these 35 to 40 godly servant-leaders for the glory of God to be eecve evangelists,
church-planters, missionaries, pastors and teachers in India.
We also want to thank you for your faithful support since Nov 13
th
, 2002. Though, it began small, it has
borne much fruit for the kingdom of God.
The Fathers Home Orphanage
By the grace of God, the children are doing well. A couple of days ago we got a scare aer a lab assistant
and a teacher in the girls school had tested posive for Covid 19. As a precauonary measure, we
stopped sending the girls to school this week. Only the boys are going to their school now. Please pray
that we will have discernment and wisdom.
Our older kids in the college are doing well. The 2
nd
year students are in their college campuses, while
the freshers are sll having online classes. Looks like the freshers also will begin the classes soon in their
college. Thank you very much for all your help in educang these precious ones.
I have a dream! Please connue to pray as we are planning on building a separate dorm for the girls in
the Fathers Home Orphanage, the female students at Harvesters Theological College and Seminary
campus women sta who have begun to stay on campus aer the covid restricon.
Our Family
By the grace of God, we are doing well. We are looking forward to celebrang our oldest daughter
Aradhanas 15
th
birthday and our sons 1
st
birthday this coming month. Amelia is busy with online classes
and is enjoying a workout video called growwithjo”.

Fayma is awaing her praccal examinaon for her masters in psychology and taking care of the family.
I am spending a lot of me reading and wring for my PhD program. Please connue to pray for us as a
family that we would enjoy God, enjoy each other and be loving to everyone.
With lots of love, your brother, Sam
Surrendered?
Yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead,
and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Romans 6:13
The thought of these underlying words is that acon taken decisively, once for all. There has to
come a me when in one moment, one place and one acon we crown Christ Lord of all. We yield
ourselves to Him as God.
Evan Hopkins, a great teacher at the Keswick Convenon in England, used to say that yielding
means three things. It means ceasing to resist the claims and the voice of God. Just as a girl who has
resisted the approach of love nally gives in and gives herself to the love of a man in marriage, so we are
to cease resisng the pleadings of the love of God in Christ. Have some of us been resisng the Lordship
of Christ in our hearts? We dont mind giving Him this or that bit of life, but that inner throne room
no. We have a noce on that parcular doorNo admiance—Private.
But the Lordship of Christ means ceasing to withhold and to allow every area in our lives to come
under His control. Yielding means ceasing to struggle. It means giving ourselves without reserve to Him
and to receive in return the riches of His love and grace. Yielding is an unseen acon in our hearts
proclaiming His Lordship in our lives. It happens at the moment when we place the crown upon His
head. In every reign there is a moment of coronaon. Has that moment come in our life with Christ?
