Staying in Touch
In the aernoon, the parcipants requested that I do a
role play on how to share the Gospel to strangers. Aer
this session, we went in a few groups to some nearby
college campuses for actual evangelism. We concluded
the workshop on hearing the experiences and answering
quesons from the parcipants from their evangelisc
eorts and by giving them ps on apologecs and follow
up.
I was encouraged by the feedback from the organizers as
well as the parcipants. One of the organizers wrote,
“Thank you so much for coming and taking the sessions
with praccal experiences. God made a lot of dierence.
Wonderful. Praising God for you”. Here is feedback from one of the parcipants, “It was very helpful and
a great step towards personal evangelism. We could overcome the hinderances we had before with the
ps and illustraon by the speaker”.
The organizers said that they are now thinking of inving me again aer a few months to lead a
workshop on “Apologecs”.
I am grateful to my parents, Uncle Mack, and ministers of Gospel Harvesters Internaonal who kindled,
inslled, modeled, and gave me many opportunies
to share the Gospel to the masses as well as to indi-
viduals since I was 13 years.
Evangelism in the villages
By the grace of God, our GHIndia teams have been
using every opportunity to share the Gospel to every-
one we meet. This month we have shared the Gospel
to over 2,250 people and over 1,500 have trusted
Christ to the glory of God.
A few weeks back, our manager Victor lost his dad. I was invited to preach at his memorial service. My
PhD studies have only reinforced the fact of the truthfulness, power, and the hope in the Gospel. I
preached on “How to grieve and how to live in the light of the resurrecon” from 1 Corinthians 15 to the
believers as well as to the unbelievers. I was able to share the same message during the inaugural of our
college extension program on 25
th
Sept. I told my wife that this was
probably the best message I have ever preached. Not because of how I
preached, but because of what I preached. Jesus is risen…so let us stand
rm, let us not allow anything to move, let us give ourselves always to
the work of the Lord because our labor in the Lord is not in vain.
By the grace of God, last week we had a literal 1 Thess. 1:9 moment. A
family from an “unreached people group” took this bold step of faith. I
wish I could share their picture, but I am unable to for security reasons.
...They tell how
you turned to
God from
idols to serve
the living and
true God.
