I confess, O God, that our world is not yet the world you have called us
to create. There is strife and prejudice among us.
For my part, O God, I ask your forgiveness. For the times I have heard
bigotry and remained silent, forgive me, O God. For the time I have
spoken bigotry when I should have remained silent, forgive me, O God.
I want to follow you, Jesus, and live in a world that honors your
commandment to love one another as we love ourselves. Strengthen me
to live this commandment today and always. Amen.

WORSHIP SERVICE
UMW will be leading the service next week for their Call to Prayer and
Self Denial with the theme of “Love, Justice and Answering the Call”.
Deaconess Dr. Judith Pierre Okerson, President of the Florida
Conference of United Methodist Women will be the guest speaker.
The congregation is asked to bring non-perishable food to the worship
service for our food pantry.
